Day Tour Perth and Boshack Outback

Day Tour Perth is excited to team up with a Perth Farm Stay called Boshack Outback. It is a beautiful property set on a lake with plenty of things to do from canoeing to bushwalking. Our guests simply love this unique place and can’t get enough of the peaceful tranquil setting.

Location

Located 90 minutes north east from Perth Western Australia in the wheatbelt, near the town of Toodyay and Bolgart. Boshack Outback set on 300 acres of land and is Land for Wildlife. This is a voluntary scheme to provide habitats for wildlife which contributes to the long term survival of native plants and animals.

The Property

Lake Serene is one of the highlights of Boshack Outback. The lake is magnificent at sunrise as you can watch the sun coming up over the water. There are many trees in the lake and the reflection on the water and the colour of the sky is just stunning.

Take a canoe out on the lake and look for long neck turtle that inhabit the lake. You can also try net fishing and the children especially love trying to catch frogs or just splashing out the waters edge.

Accommodation near Perth Western Australia

All tents are permanent and they are eco friendly as they are made from recycled material. Two of the tents have prime position being located right by the waters edge and the other tents are set back a bit further from the lake in the bush. The tents have beds and can sleep 6 to 10 people, there is plenty of room. There is also a light in the tent which comes in handy.

Facilities

The diner is situated by the lake so you can enjoy your meals with a view of the lake. The front of the building is open and covered with shade cloth which allows for a nice breeze. In the cooler months there is also a potbelly fire to keep you warm. There is a cook who can whip us some good old fashioned meals or they are facilities for you to cook yourself.

The shower is open air however they do have a roof which can close over if needed. Not a bad option to have a shower while looking up at the stars.

The sinks are also outside and the toilets are also located in this area, close to the diner.

Farm Tour

While you are staying here, you can book a farm tour near Perth Western Australia. There is a lot more to offer than just visiting a farm. Hop on the back of a trailer for a tour around the farm and feed the animals. Get up close and personal with the horses as they eat hay from your hand.

You also get to learn how to throw a boomerang, play the didgeridoo, try your hand at water divining, catching marron, make billy tea and sample damper.

Boshack Outback is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and get away from it all. Plus children will enjoy spending time in nature climbing trees, fishing and playing by the lake.
